Bear & Beyond Episode One
We’ve come up with a sort of variety format to put lots of our ideas together into one show. Like a jumble sale of skits, films, and animations. The first episode is about a third of the way to completion. We’re pushing it through to weed out the problems.
Jan 17: Most of the writing finished, some filming done. Lots of artwork, music and set building still need doing.
Bear Zero [redux]
Artist Ischabold has teamed up with The Brown Brothers to re-launch their comic in a stronger style. It’s planned to be released as a cbr file.
Jan 17: First installment has been outlined, early written draft complete.
Feb 21: Story-boarding complete. Currently 19 pages.
Doctor Peng
The idea for Doctor Peng came about over a year ago, as a homage to a certain other travelling doctor. What was to be a short skit, hit production troubles when Plar ordered all the penguins to stay in remedial creche (a tedious and patronising learning nursery) for the next 6 months. Plar got bored after a few weeks and called it all off, but what work had gone into the Doctor Peng project had been shelved. No one has revisited it until now.
Produced by Cerillion Domino, this will now be reworked into a full series of animated stories. However there is a lengthy writing process needed to get things off to the right start.
Jan 17: Season one in early stages of writing.
Mar 22: A season of 10 stories has been fully plotted. Planned as 6 animated and 4 comic book stories. Animated stories will be episodic of varying lengths.
